March, 8 is Women's holiday, a holiday of spring and attention to the woman.

International Women's Day - The 8-th of March! This is one of the most important holidays in Russia. The celebration is similar to a combination between Valentine's Day and Mother's Day in the West but better. This is a national holiday and a day off. Several nations celebrate this, but only a few acknowledge it as an official, non-working holiday. On this day All Russian Men traditionally congratulate All Women (their mothers, wives, daughters, grandmothers, girl-friends, teachers...), they usually give them first spring flowers: mimosa, and tulips and also  candies  and cards with self-made short poems. Every Woman of any age has present on this day, all women are honored! On this day Russian women are surrounded with flowers, love, and poems. A woman is cared after. She doesn't aloud to do anything about the house on the 8th of March: men do all the cooking, cleaning…. The Women's  Day - 8th of March is the best holyday for Russian women of any age.

      Сегодня мальчики 8 "Б" класса поздравили всех наших девочек и подарили им праздничные весенние подарки. Пусть улыбки, которые дарят вам в этот день не заканчиваются . Пусть всегда в душе сияет солнце и поют птицы. Пусть ваши добрые желания сбываются. Весна идёт - весне дорогу! С праздником 8-го Марта!!!
